Lucy married Ebenezer Bennett in about 1826 somewhere near Locke, Cayuga, New York where her family had lived since moving from Vermont in 1811. Their children; all born in Locke: Amanda Bennett b. 1827-d. 1843, Chauncey Bennett b. 1830, Corydon Bennett b. 1833, Harriet Bennet b. 1836.
According to the 25 Apr 1884 obituary of Ebenezer Bennett in the Kewaunee Enterprise: in 1844, the family of Ebenezer and Lucy (Goodrich) Bennett moved to Cook County, Illinois where they appeared in the 1850 US Census for Ridgeville, Cook, Illinois as neighbors of brother-in-law and sister Chauncey and Lois (Goodrich) Trumbull, and remained there until they moved to Carlton, Kewaunee, Wisconsin in 1862, where Lucy (Goodrich) Bennett died soon afterward.
