Gail Amos-Sanford entered rest Thursday, July 14, 2016. Celebration service: 11 a.m Saturday, July 23, at Carter Metropolitan Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 4601 Wichita St. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 22 at historic Baker Funeral Home. The family will be present at 6 p.m. Gail Lanelle Sanford was born Dec. 13, 1951, to Jimmie and Willie Lee Amos. She was preceded in death by her son, Hiran Brown; brother, Wayne Amos; and sister, Arnetta Reese. Survivors: Son, George Sanford (Kenya); daughter, Shagayla Brown; brothers, William and James Amos; sister, Betty Whitmill; grandchildren, Jaden Sanford and Kiante Ingram; and other relatives and friends.
