Jean Lelone Cudworth Daniels, 86, of Wanchese died on Thursday, June 16 at her home. Born November 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Vance L. Cudworth and Ina Midgett Cudworth. Jean worked for the Dare County Public School System and was affiliated with Wanchese Assembly of God.
Jean is survived by four daughters, Darlene Brodie (Charles) of Wanchese, Deanna Briggs (Sunny)of Manteo, Lonie Whaley (John) of Wanchese and Debbie Johnson (George) of Wanchese; two sons, Willie E. Daniels, Jr. (Candy) ane Vance Ivey Daniels (Tina), both of Wanchese; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Lois Sanders, Wilma Scarborough, Ina Davis and Iris Midgett; and one brother, Louis Cudworth.
A funeral was to be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Wanchese Assembly of God with Rev. Kenny Midgett officiating and burial to take place at Cudworth Cemetery...
