Fern Darlene Chrzan, age 83, formerly of Greenville, Gladwin, Tecumseh and Adrian, Mich., passed away at her residence at Sunset Village in Sylvania, Ohio, on Dec. 7, 2013. She was born on Dec. 30, 1929, the daughter of Byron and Opal Agnew.

Darlene graduated from Adrian High School, then worked as a beautician before raising her four sons. Mom will be remembered by those who knew her by how much she loved to laugh and joke. She was a wonderfully loving mother and wife who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Hagar, Scott Sharp, Bradley Sharp and Brian Sharp; her sister, Betty Hagar; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Philip Chrzan.

No funeral services will be held. Cremation services provided by Dowling Funeral Home, Sylvania Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Juvenile Diabetes, Habitat for Humanity or the American Legion.
