Bridget McCormick (1877 - 1953)

Bridget McCormick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander McCormick was born in Scotland, June 10, 1877 and died Saturday November 7, 1953 in the Rush County Memorial Hospital, LaCrosse.

Se came to America in 1881 with her parents and settled in Pennsylvania 1884 the family moved to Kansas and settled on a farm southwest of McCracken. She moved to McCracken in 1921 and remained there until her death.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Anna Pryor, Larned; Mrs. O.E. McKittrick and Mrs. A.F. Marak, McCracken; three brothers, Patrick, James and Frank, McCracken.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held in St. Mary's Catholic Church, McCracken, Monday morning, November 9 with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating.

Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Pall bearers were Connie Fox, El Dorado, Pat Keenner, Joe Gaschler, Henry Gaschler, John McCormick and Tom McCormick.
