Services for Robert Hillhouse will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Rev. Rusty Walton officiating. Burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Newton with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hillhouse, 92, of Newton, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Survivors include three daughters: Martha Lois Sharp and husband Edd of Philadelphia, Rebecca Denning and husband Robert of Bushwood, Md., and Jan Addy and husband Charles of Decatur; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; two sisters: Pearl McGee of Lake, and Mary Ruth Dennis of Lake; four brothers: Edward Hillhouse of Maben, David Hillhouse of Decatur, Homer Mitchell Hillhouse of Stinnett, Texas, and Cecil Hillhouse of Leaksville; and three step-children: Brenda Gail Hendrix and husband Mike of Brownsville, Tenn., Larry Wayne Sills and wife Angela of Forest, and Jerry Lynn Sills of Brownsville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by two wives: Elnora Hillhouse and Jewel Hillhouse; one son, Johnny Ray Hillhouse Sr.; three brothers: Marvin Hillhouse, Ralph Hillhouse and Leon Hillhouse; two infant brothers; and one step-son, Charles Barry Sills. Visitation will be today, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
