Homer Hillhouse, 80, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in Borger.
A celebration of his life at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at New Life Church with the Pastor Conny Moore officiating. The family kindly requests that all attendees wear a mask. Graveside services will be held privately in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Hillhouse was born October 18, 1940 in Newton, Mississippi to Albert and Beulah Phillips Hillhouse. Together, he and his wife, Nancy, owned and operated Yellow Rose Café in Stinnett. Homer also owned H&T Steam Service. He enjoyed tending to his goats and chickens. Homer also like to watch westerns and wrestling on television.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; and brothers, Robert, Ralph, Leon, Marvin, Dave and two infant brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Tamie Boston and husband Ernest of Borger, Mylinda Hillhouse of Amarillo, Debbie Crowl and husband Jack of Stinnett, Janet Hinders and husband Stan of Sanford; six grandchildren, Brian Boston and wife Laura, Brandon Boston and wife Veronica, Amber Crews and husband Joseph, DeNelle Jernberg and husband Cody, LaCretia Rankin and husband Mike, Cody Hinders and wife Jennifer; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil Hillhouse; sisters, Mary Ruth, Pearl; and a host of extended family.
