She married James Madison Futch on January 15, 1856, in Raymond, Hinds, Mississippi. They had: Mary E, Harry T, Edward Downing Sr, Ishum, Forest Downing "Dan", Katherine Elizabeth "Kate" and James Lafayette Futch. She died on January 20, 1900, in Hinds, Mississippi, at the age of 61, and was buried in the Bedwell Cemetery in Dry Grove, Hinds, MS. She was my 3rd gr aunt and sister of Arabella Nicholson "Belle" Bedwell Lee who was my 2nd gr grandmother by Cheryl Walters Parr.
