Hannah attended the Alexandria public schools and graduated from the high school with the class of 1896. She was confirmed in the Svea Lutheran church, of which she remained a faithful members. Hannah was active in the Luther League, taught a Sunday school class for several years, and took an active part in the Ladies' Aid. She was a teacher in the public schools of the county for several years.
On November 5, 1906, she was married to A. Emil Anderson, after which they made their home on Mr. Anderson's farm in Alexandria township. Two sons Laurence and Raymond, of Alexandria and one daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Emett Hermanson) of Minneapolis survive. Also surviving are three sisters, Mabel (Mrs. T. A. Erickson) of St. Paul, Alma and Edna of Alexandria; and a brother, Carl V. Anderson of Alexandria, and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson had been in failing health for some time and passed away May 27, 1946, at the home of her daughter. Her husband passed away Oct. 13, 1939. since then Mrs. Anderson had made her home with her son, Raymond, at the family home in Alexandria township.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 31 from Svea Lutheran church with Dr. O. O. Gustafson officiating. Interment was made in Kinkead cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Werling, Emil Gahlon, Oscar Wahlstrom, Joe Swenson, Walter younger, and John F. Anderson.
