Former Resident Dies
Mrs. H.L. White, 76 of Topeka, died Monday morning at the SBA hospital where she had been ill for several weeks.
Clarisa Gertrude Branch was born February 11, 1873 in Minneapolis, Kansas.
She was married to Hiram L. White on February 28, 1904. They made their home here for a number of years, moving to Topeka about thirty years ago. Mr. White died December 8, 1947.
Mrs. White was a member of the Central Park Christian church in Topeka.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gifford of the home, a son Neil E. White of Philadelphia, Pa., and a stepson, Harold W. White of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Olive Bardrick of Beloit; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with burial in the Topeka cemetery.
