Rebecca Ketterman was born on 31 May 1836, in Ohio, her father, Justus W Ketterman, and her mother, Mary Ann Wood.
She married Andrew Kisling on 29 November 1855, in Marysville, Marion, Iowa. They were the parents of at 2 sons and 2 daughters: Sarah Ellen (1854), Lewis Napolean (1857), William J (Feb 1859), Mary Elizabeth (1861).
Andrew died in 1862.
On Sept 20th, 1881, after Elizabeth (Rebecca's sister) died. Rebecca remarried Lewis Goings, in Bloomington, Nebraska. In 1890, Lewis passed away. She lived in Smith County, Kansas in 1895 and German Township, Smith, Kansas, in 1900.
In the 1900 Census it shows Rebecca Goings, widow, age 64, living with two of her children: Louis N Kesling and William J Kesling.
She died on 1 January 1910, at the age of 73, and was buried in Athol, Smith, Kansas, United States.
