Mrs. Florence S. Velde, 84, of 4104 N. Hollyridge Circle, died yesterday at Methodist Hospital.
She was born in Peoria June 16, 1886, the daughter of Joseph L. and Wilhelmina Stelbrink Schmitt. She was married to Harvey L. Velde in Peoria Oct. 14, 1914. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Robert J. (Louise) Clendenin of Monmouth and Mrs. Virgil W. (Carol) Meythaler of Owensboro, Ky.; two sons, Harvey Bruce Velde of Mountain View, Tex., and W. Lynn Velde of Peoria; and one brother, Joseph S. Schmitt of Chicago.
