FULTON Charles Edgar Chamblee, 91, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at the Daniel Health Care Complex in Fulton. He was born Feb. 10, 1908, in Itawamba County to James Nelson Chamblee and Fernie Wilson Chamblee. He was a retired construction worker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church for more than 65 years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. James Earl Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel Chamblee of Fulton; one son, Charles Wesley Chamblee, and his wife, Pat, of Fulton; five grandchildren, Wesley and Phillip Chamblee, Vicki Walker, Susan Chamblee and Joseph Chamblee; five great-grandchildren, Charlyne Chamblee, Wesley and Will Walker, Heather Chamblee and Reba Chamblee.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Chamblee, Steve Walker and Wesley Walker.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
