FULTON Charles Wesley Chamblee, 65, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born June 14, 1935, in Itawamba County to Charles Edger Chamblee and Reba Jewel Manasco Chamblee. He was a truck driver and a Baptist. An avid gardener, he was a devoted, loving family man.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Earl Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Chamblee of Fulton; his mother, Jewel Chamblee of Fulton; one daughter, Vickie Walker of Fulton; two sons, Wesley Chamblee and his wife, Dawn, of Fort Payne, Ala., and Phillip Chamblee and his wife, Renee, of Fulton; three grandchildren, Wes and Will Walker, and Reba Chamblee, all of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edger Chamblee, in 1999; a brother, Don Chamblee, in 1978; and a son-in-law, Steve Walker.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Sartin, Elvis Manasco, Loyd Manasco, Russell Manasco, Merlis Kent and Bob Killinsworth.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
