He was born Jan. 14, 1901 at Apollo, the son of John and Daisy Blystone Wilmot.
A member of the Apollo Spring Church Sportsmens Club, he was retired from United Engineering and Foundry Co., Vandergrift plant, in Jan. 1963.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Klingensmith Wilmot; one son and one daughter, James H. Wilmot, Wichita, Kansas, a member of the U.S. Air Force, and Delores, at home; two grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilmot, Oklahoma; four brothers, and two sisters, Merle, Oklahoma, Clifford, Apollo, Paul, R.D. 3, Apollo, Mrs. Goldie Leeker, Leechburg, and Mrs. John (Helen) Baylor, Vandergrift.
Friends will be received in the N. LeRoy King Funeral Home, Apollo, from 7 to 9 this evening; from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. George Provance, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
