She was a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Arno Roshia. She attended schools in Norfolk and Potsdam.

She was a chambermaid at Shines Inn and also was a private-duty health-care provider. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Auto League, a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Country Western Dance Club, a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a former communicant of St. Mary's Church, Potsdam. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts.

Surviving was her husband; three sons, Donald (Sally) Larry (Gail), and Robert; a daughter; Mrs. Gay (Joan) Patraw; a son-in-law, Robert Vine; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Constance Vine, died Feb. 11. Eight sisters, Agnes Eseltine, Sophia Butler, Elizabeth King, Mary (Zappia) Bergeron, Rose Wolf, Anna Henderson, Josephine Currier and Rachael Roshia, and three brothers, Joseph, Louis and Anthony Roshia, died before her.
