He was employed at Aluminum Company of America for 39 years, working in various departments throughout his career. He retired in 1983. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening.
Surviving were three sons, Donald (Sally), Larry(Gail), and Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Gay (Joan) Patraw; a son-in-law, Robert G. Vine; a sister, Leona Danboise; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Constance B. Vine, died 2/11/ 2001; two sisters, Sadie Guay and Alice Bergeron, and two brothers, Lucian and Phillip, also died before him.
