Husband of Lady Ethel Fielden of Fortuna. Father of Leslie Fielden of Ruth, Mrs. Ruby Ashburn of Fortuna, Mrs. Rita Bruce of Santa Rosa, and Leland Fielden of Fortuna. Brother of Walter Fielden of Rio Dell, Mrs. Agnes Davis of Hydesville, Mrs. Ora Fletcher of Lynchburg, Missouri, and Mrs. Edith Bray of Union, Washington. Grandfather of Robert Hoffman of San Francisco, Michael Hoffman of Oakland, Richard Ashburn of Albany, Oregon, Donald Ashburn of Hydesville and Mrs. Dawn Lee Martinelli of Livermore. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A native of Missouri, Mr. Fielden moved to California in 1912 and settled in Hydesville in 1919 where he was a rancher. He was an active member of Eel River Lodge No. 210 IOOF for 51 years and a charter member of the Van Duzen River Grange of Carlotta. Aged 83 years.

Friends are invited to attend services at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, Tuesday, May 25 at 2 p.m., with services under the auspices of officers of Eel River Lodge No. 210 IOOF. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka.

Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to IOOF Youth Camp Fund, care of Eel River Lodge No. 210 IOOF, 1730 So. Main St., Rohnerville.
