LADY ETHEL FIELDEN passed away March 13, 1976. Resident of 381 9th St., Fortuna; wife of the late Everett Leslie Fielden, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1971; mother of Leslie Fielden of Ruth, Mrs. Ruby Ashburn of Fortuna, Mrs. Rita Bruce of Santa Rosa, Leland Fielden of Hydesville; sister of James Leonard Stuart of Carlton; grandmother of Robert Hoffman of Millbrae, Michael Hoffman of Brighton, Mass., Richard Ashburn of Phoenix, Ariz., Donald Ashburn of Hydesville, Mrs. Dawn Lee Park of Livermore; she is survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Grand Pass, Mo., age 84 years. Mrs. Fielden came to California in 1913 and to Humboldt County in 1919, where she made her home for many years in the Hydesville area before moving to Fortuna. She was a 60 year member of the Rohnerville Rebekah Lodge No 81 and a charter member of the Van Duzen River Grange of Carlotta.

Friends are invited to attend services in the chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, Tuesday March 16, at 2 p.m. under the auspices of Rohnerville Rebekah Lodge No 81. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka.

Those wishing to make contributions may make them to the IOOF Youth Camp Fund, c.o Rohnerville Rebekah Lodge No 81, P.O. Box 381, Fortuna 95540.
