Ira W. Alloway, 42, Of Near Lucky Dies
Lucky—Ira W. Alloway, 42, husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Horvath Alloway, Brogueville RD 1, near here, died at 9:18 a.m. Saturday in York hospital after a lingering illness.
He was a son of Joseph Alloway, York, and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Haugh Alloway.
Besides his wife and father, he leaves four children, Mrs. George Urey, Brogueville RD 1; and Joseph, Leroy and Dale Alloway, all at home; five brothers, Amos and Samuel Alloway, both of York; Irvin Alloway, Brogueville RD 1; Elmer Alloway, Dover RD 3, and Raymond Alloway, Mt. Wolf RD 1; and five sisters, Mrs. Ralph Hoffman and Mrs. Edward Ahrens, both of Red Lion; Mrs. Mervin Leese and Mrs. Joseph Andrews, both of York, and Mrs. Elsie Forwood, Brogueville RD 1.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Olewiler Funeral home. 145 East Broadway, Red Lion, by Rev. Joseph Seitz, pastor of Chanceford Lutheran parish. Interment will be in St. Luke's Lutheran cemetery, New Bridgeville.
