HARBERT RITES TO BE THURSDAY
Funeral services for C. Wilbur Harbert, 50, of Wagner Avenue and Orange Highway, a machinist at the Gulf refinery for 11 years, who died Tuesday at 9 p.m. in St. Mary's hospital, will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Grammier Chapel.

Ill Three Months
Dr. Ernest Quick, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Shelvy H. Anglemyer, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be R. K. Yarbrough, J. C. Borgersen, T. O. Hargis, J. F. Drake, L. J. Breaux and John Kimbro.

Mr. Harbert had been ill for three months. A native of Mount Zion, Illinois, he had lived in Port Arthur for 11 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors Listed
Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Lucy (Calloway) Harbert of Port Arthur; six brothers, Byron B. and Sylvan C. Harbert of Jennings, Louisiana, Glenn F. Harbert of Beaumont, Maurice A. Harbert of Port Arthur, Jack Frank Harbert, Army engineer in service in Holland, and Chief Petty Officer Arthur H. Harbert of the Seabees in California; three sisters, Mrs. Robert McKague of Falfurrias, Mrs. John Wallace of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Mrs. Arthur H. Herm of Orange.

Funeral services will be held today at 4 p. m. in the Grammier Chapel for C. Wilbur Harbert, 50, of Wagner Avenue and Orange Highway, who died Tuesday night in St. Mary's hospital.

Dr. Ernest Quick, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Shelvy H. Anglemyer, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Lucy Callaway Harbert, six brothers and three sisters.
