ARTHUR H. HARBERT
Arthur H. Harbert, 76, of Port Arthur, died Thursday at Saint Mary Hospital. A native of Jennings, Louisiana, Mr. Harbert lived in Port Arthur for 47 years. He retired from Gulf Oil Refinery in 1974 as a foreman in the Electrical Department where he had 32 years of service.

Mr. Harbert was a member of Saint Mark's First United Methodist Church of Port Arthur; a veteran of the Navy Seabees in WWII; he was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Cosmopolitan Lodge #872; member of Optimist Club; Disabled American Veterans; American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 PM, Grammier Oberle Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic Graveside services by Cosmopolitan Lodge #872 will be conducted in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include wife, Goldie G. Harbert, Port Arthur: two sons, Dale R. Harbert, Arlington, Texas, Jonathon Gregg (step-son), Port Arthur; two daughters, Sylvia H. Blair, Fort Worth, Texas, Gail Meaux (step-daughter), Port Arthur; four grandchildren, Aaron and Angela Meaux, Adam and A. J. Gregg; one sister, Gladys Wallace of Sieper, Louisiana.

Memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated by the family. Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge as follows: Mrs. Billy Locke, Mr. Stefanos Loukas, Mr. L. J. King, Mr. Ray Eldridge, Mr. Winslow Fenn, Mr. Je. E. Davis.
