Ervin was born August 1, 1920, in Hamilton Twp., the son of the late Charles W. and Katherine L. (Myers) Baugher.
Ervin was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Oxford and enjoyed taking daily trips to the North Hanover Mall to visit with friends and strangers alike.
Ervin is survived by three sons, Eugene R. Baugher and his wife Mary Ann of New Oxford, Kenneth E. Baugher and his wife Patsy of Atascadero, Calif., and Larry L. Baugher and his wife Cindy of York; a daughter, Diane B. Ledford and her husband Farrell of Glenville; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Dubs of Hanover. He was predeceased by three brothers, Harry, John and Clair Baugher; and a sister, Mary Stambaugh.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with his pastor, the Rev. Elizabeth George, officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
