Jo Ruth Massey, age 80, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Jo was born in Rotan, Texas to the late Walter and Geraldine (Aaron) Hartsfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Chester Hartsfield; and sister, Hallie Mock. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Jones and wife Patsy of Kermit, TX. and Kevin Jones of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Diandra Jones, Sabrina Chavarria and husband Richard, Chelsea Carroll and husband Matt and Shelby Jones; and great grandchildren, Aaralyn and Kynslee Carroll.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 (today) from 6pm to 8pm at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory Street. Graveside services are scheduled for 3pm Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Hobbs Cemetery in Fisher County, TX. To leave a condolence for the family, go to
