Samuel Hubbell Jr., son of Richard Hubbell and his 2nd wife Elizabeth (Gaylord) b. 1670?, d. 1713-1714, m. Elizabeth Burr about 1694, daughter of Jehu 2nd and Elizabeth (Prudden).

He is likely the Samuel Hubbell who received a 2 pound bounty for service in Captain Benjamin Newberry's company, Col. William Whiting's regiment "on the late expedition formed against Canada" 1709 (Queen Anne's War)...Perhaps he is also the Samuel of Fairfield elected Deputy to the General Assembly of New Haven 1711. His estate probates dated 1714, no will.

Samuel Hubbell Jr. and Elizabeth Burr were members of the Congregational Church of Fairfield, renewing the Covenant together on May 19, 1695.
