son of Richard Hubbell, Sr. (22 JAN. 1626 - 23 Oct. 1699) and his 3rd wife Abigail(Prudden) Walker Hubbell (13 Feb. 1647 - 18 Jan 1717)∼This John Hubbell was not the son of Richard Hubbell (1629-1699) and Elizabeth Meigs. Their son, Lt. John Hubbell, from whom I descend, lived 1652-1690, and his burial site is unknown. He married Patience Nichols. He died of small pox and was buried, only to have the Indians dig him up for his clothing and shoes.
