She was born on December 2, 1895, in South Dakota and had been a resident of Chester for three years, coming from Campbell, California.

She is survived by her sons, Alvin of West Hope, North Dakota, Harold of Spokane, Washington, Leo of Vanetta, Oregon, George of Biggs, California and Donald of Beaverton, Oregon; her daughters, Elsie Olson of Tacoma, Washington, Hazel Blair of Hermiston, Oregon, Mildred Atkins of Salem, Oregon, Lillian Clark of Lake Almanor Peninsula, California; and her 31 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Services were held in Tacoma, Washington on April 15, 1994 with burial in Mt. View Memorial Park in Tacoma.
