Robert was born at Limestone, Newton County, Arkansas. Died at Memphis,Shelby Co., Tennessee. He lived at Fair Oaks, Cross County, Arkansas. He was the son of George Washington NEAL and Caroline BROWN Neal. Before residing in Cross Co., he lived his live in Newton Co., Robert was a sawmill operator there. He married Willia Smith and they had one daughter, Nadene and an infant son who died at birth. After moving with his family in the early 1960's to Cross County he worked as a farmhand for large rice farms in that area. His hobby was coon hunting and he always had expensive coonhounds. He would go to Ohio and other places to show and compete in dog trials with his dogs. Buying and selling dogs all over the US.
