Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, South Jordan, Utah. Obituary: Carroll Rockney Riddle, August 25, 1932 - November 7, 2015. Resided in Riverton, UT. Our devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Carroll Rockney Riddle (83) passed away on November 7, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Carroll was born in Marysvale, Utah on August 25, 1932. He graduated from Richfield High School, completed telegraph school and enjoyed his career working for the Rio Grande Railroad. He married his high school sweetheart, Reva Ogden, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they have 5 children, 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren. Carroll and Reva raised their family in Spring Glen, Utah. He took pride in his family, his work on the railroad, and his wonderful vegetable gardens. He loved people but his best friends were his family. He enjoyed outings in the camp trailer, working with his family, swimming, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the LDS church and it was a great source of guidance to him. Many lasting friendships were built through service and associations in church callings. He served for many years in the scouting program and earned the Silver Beaver Award. He enjoyed his days in Carbon County until 1999 when Carroll and Reva moved to Riverton, Utah to be closer to family.

He is survived by his loving wife Reva; children, L. Russell Riddle (Rosalyn); Jan Phillips (Wilford), Jackie Shorts (Jim); Gary Riddle (Diane); and Renee Moore (Harlan); and sister, Bonnie Bolton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 at the Redwood Ward 12070 Laurel Chase Drive, Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S) South Jordan.
