Barbara Luneach Harraman

Was born in Germany, Feb. 7, 1823, and died Feb 9, 1906, aged 83 years and 2 days. Her parents immigrated to this country when she was but seven years of age. January 12, 1839, she was married to Providence Harraman, who went to rest March 10, 1897, at the age of 77 years. To this union were born ten children; Mrs. Peter Dutter at whose home she died, Mrs. H.A. Gilbert, and John and Dick Harraman who reside in Oklahoma, six children having preceded her to the other world. For nearly twenty years she and her husband were members of the Christian church, but in 1890 they were identified with the German Baptist church of Oklahoma, of which she was a faithful member. There remains two sons, two daughters, seventeen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday Feb. 11, at South Scott church, Elder Stauffer officiating.
