Margaret Elenora Harriman was born in Marion county, Ohio, October 23, 1851, and passed away at her home October 2, 1929, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, 9 days.

She was married to Peter Dutter January 24, 19768. To this union two children were born: Mrs. William Deller and Ora Dutter. She came from a family of eleven children, all of whom have gone before her, except one sister, Mrs. Jane Gilbert.

She has lived in this neighborhood most of her life and has always been a good Samaritan in time of sickness and trouble, and is known and loved by the younger generation as Aunt Mag. She leaves to mourn her departure her sister, son, and daughter, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and neighbors. Her sincere wishes are expressed in the beautiful poem by Tennyson:

Sunset and the evening star,
And one clear call for me;
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea.

But such a tide as, moving, seems asleep,
Too full of sound and foam.
When that which drew out from the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark.

For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.
