Oscar Clarence Dobbins, 93, of Rosedale, died Monday, December 18, 1989 in Roane General Hospital.
He was the son of the late Joel and Ellen Sullivan Dobbins, was a member of the Savannah Baptist Church on Laurel Run and a retired farmer and gas-oil well driller.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eva F. Miller Dobbins, one son, Clarence Dobbins, and two stepsons, Glen and Burlien Miller; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Rosedale Methodist Church, with Rev. Darrell Hashman officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery.
