Ed was married to Anna Vallejos on Aug. 18, 1917. He was a member of District 29 school board n Torres. He also worked as a bus driver, cut props for mines, farmed cattle and sheep, and raised hay. He had a good sense of humor, and was known through the small towns along Highway 12. He had nine children. He died as a result of a truck accident as he drove to Torres, CO on December 7, 1983.
