Marguerite Richardson Clement, 90, of Pampa, died October 23, 2015 in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Monday, October 26, 2015, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. A private family burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Clement was born September 11, 1925 in Rankin, Oklahoma, to Lindsey and Annie Montgomery. She married Charles Robert Richardson on April 21, 1943. He preceded her in death September 15, 1976. She had been a resident of Pampa from 1950 until 1978 when she moved to Mangum, Oklahoma. She later returned to Pampa in 2008. Marguerite married E. W. Clement in March of 1978. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2012. She was the owner and operator of Mayfair Beauty Salon for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and taking care of her family. Marguerite played bridge and “42”, and collected antiques.

Marguerite was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Craig Richardson, nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter; Debbie Sewell of Pampa, two sons; Charles L. Richardson and wife Jill of Arvada, Colorado, and Robert “Mickey” Richardson and wife Zindi of Amarillo, a stepdaughter; Soni Thomas and husband Nathan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a brother, Bobby Montgomery and wife Mary Lou of Stinnett, a sister; Betty Hanawalt of Elk City, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren; Matthew Richardson, Tanya Richardson, Whitney Flowers, Jess Richardson, Shaylee Piland, Grant Richardson, Jody Richardson and Garrett Sewell, one step granddaughter; Baylie Thomas, and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 415 W. 8th Ave., Suite 300, Amarillo, Texas 79101.
