Morton Earl Burchett Jr., 52, of Smiths Grove died at 5:20 p.m. July 30, 1995, at The Medical Center. The Albany native was a retired Colt Industries employee and a trustee, deacon and member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Calvin Morton Burchett Sr. and Dora Andrews Burchett.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at State Street Baptist Church with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is in progress until 9 p.m. today at Burnam and Son Mortuary and will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at State Street Baptist Church.
