Mrs. Glena Burchett Alexander, age 85, of Bowling Green, KY, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green, KY. The Albany, KY native was member of New Hope Baptist Church , First Baptist Church, and attended Eleventh Street Baptist Church. Glena was a former employee of Western Kentucky University. Glena enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing Bingo and working picture puzzles. Glena loved to bake and share her homemade biscuits and Italian cream cakes.

Glena was predeceased by her parents, Morton Burchett and Dora E. Andrews Burchett; daughter, Geraldine Hill; brothers and sisters, Charlie E. Burchett, Morton E. Burchett, Enry C. Burchett, Johnnie M. Burchett, Flim D. Burchett, and Emily V. Burchett.

Glena’s memories will rest with her son, Frank E. (Rosemary) Alexander, Jr., Bowling Green, KY; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Patress B. Moore, Janie A. Johnson, William R. (Ruby) Burchett, all of Louisville, KY, James H. (Leona) Burchett, Las Vegas, NV; son in-law, Rev. Thomas Hill, Bowling Green, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.
