Laura married De Lourdes Lippé February 3, 1915. He was the widower of her cousin Éléonore Gendreau, 1882-1914. In 1917 they purchased the Château Milette in Lac Mégantic from Dr. J.-A. Milette. Laura and her daughter stayed in the house until 1969.
