Josephine Lane "Jo" Mhoon, 90, of Springdale, died Oct. 9, 2015 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville.
She was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Kingston, the daughter of Robert Catlett and Myrtle Jane Clark Lane.
She was a retired bookkeeper, a member of the Buckner Baptist Church and the widow of Harry E. Mhoon who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1976.
She was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Newton Lane and Faye Lane; and by three sisters, Alva Filbeck, Virginia Snow and Joyce Thompson.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Jo and Randy Treat of Kingston; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters, and several nephews and nieces.
Private interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home Huntsville.
