Ernest M. Anderson, 61, Chetek, died Saturday, August 5, at his home here.
He was born on November 29, 1916, to his parents Albert and Lena Anderson, and married Bernice Cary, February 11, 1940, in Port Angeles, Washington. He was employed as a maintenance worker for the Barron County Highway Department for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs Bryon (Eileen) Davis and Mrs Donald (Barbara) Bredvick, both of Chetek; four brothers, Clarence, New Auburn, Arthur L. Willis and Gilman, all of Chetek; two sisters Mrs Walter Pierson, Boyceville and Mrs Doris Ranney, Chetek; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chetek Lutheran Church with Rev. W.A. Hunstad officiating. Burial was made in Zion Cemetery, Sand Creek. The Burnham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
David Anderson was soloist, accompanied by JoAnne Orton, Pallbearers were Bill Nelson, Alfred Johnson, Donald Madison, Layton Hanson, Wallace Nelson and Minard Dalhoe.
