JAMES W. ALLISON

James W. Allison of Route 3, Morgantown passed away Friday, July 24th at Community Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been in failing health for the past three months.

The Rev. Daniel Bell, pastor of the Shepherd of the Hills and Prince of Peace Lutheran churches, conducted the service at 2 p.m. Sunday 25th at Clark's Funeral Home at Morgantown.

Mr. Allison, age 57, had lived in the Morgantown-northern Brown County area since 1941 except for 6 years spent in Indianapolis. He was a truck driver for Anderson Motor Service in Indianapolis and belonged to the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church near Nashville.

The son of John and Jennie Beckley Allison, he was born Feb. 3, 1913 in Shelby County, Ky. His marriage to Ruth Wright took place in Indianapolis on Nov. 11, 1931.

She survives him as do three sons and a daughter, John and Marvin Allison of Morgantown and Richard Allison and Mrs. Erma Couch of Indianapolis and 12 grandchildren.

Also surviving him are two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ethel Beckley of Pleasureville, Ky., and Mrs. Pauline Perry and Ed Cecil of Indianapolis.
