Her Death Occurred Yesterday at Her Home on Sixth Street
Mrs. Honorah Cotter, an aged and well known resident of the city, died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at her home on East Sixth Street.
Deceased was a native of County Cork, Ireland, and had been living in Maysville since 1847.
Her husband, the late William Cotter, died some eight years ago.
She was 91 years of age and is survived by two children, Mrs. Margaret Kelty of Lewis County and Mr. James Cotter of Texas.
The funeral arrangements had not been completed when THE LEDGER went to press, awaiting the arrival her son, who started from his home last night.

Another Old Citizen Passed Away Wednesday Morning in the Person of Mrs. Honora Cotter
Mrs. Honora Cotter, widow of the late William Cotter, died yesterday morning at her home at Sixth Street, at the head of Market, after a brief illness, at the ripe age of ninety-one years. She leaves a son, Mr. James Cotter, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and a daughter, Mrs. D. Kelty, of Lewis County. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband died eight years ago.
Mrs. Cotter was born in the County of Cork, Ireland, and came direct from the old country, in 1849, to Maysville, where she has resided continuously. In all these years she had witnessed the many changes and improvements in the city. She was a woman of wonderful vitality and had the use of all her senses up to the last moment.
The funeral will take place from St. Patrick's Church, of which she was a member, loved and esteemed by a host of friends for her many Christian virtues. Burial in the cemetery in Washington. The date of her funeral will not be set until her son arrives from Texas.
