Anna Mary Bollinger, 84, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her home.

She was the faithful wife of Galen S. Bollinger. On November 4th, they would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.

Born in Earl Twp. on May 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Martin Nolt.

Anna Mary along with her husband owned and operated the family dairy farm on Forest Drive.

She was a member of the Mt. Zion Rd. Church of the Brethren where she served with her husband in the office of Deacon/ness. She was a member of the Farm Women Group #20 and also was a teacher for release time.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, entertaining, milking cows and especially raising her family. She taught her children to work and pray hard, appreciate music, avoid complaining and most importantly, to love the Lord with all of their heart. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, kind friend and neighbor to many.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Lamar Bollinger of Fredericksburg; daughters Barbara wife of Bill Cleveland of Wellsboro, Brenda wife of Scott Kunkle of Shillington, Bonnie Bollinger of Fredericksburg and Beverly wife of David Shirk of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Teri wife of Ethan Hornsby, Bryan Cleveland, Renee and Douglas Kunkle, Jennifer and Darrin Shirk; sisters Edna wife of the late Omar Graybill of Ephrata, Esther wife of Jacob Kreider of Kinzers, Arlene wife of the late Wilbur Hershey of Bethel and Dorothy wife of Elam “Bud” Blank of Parkesburg.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mabel Mellinger and brothers Paul and Harlan Nolt.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Rd. Church of the Brethren, 2087 Mt. Zion Rd., Fredericksburg. The viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service.

Interment will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or to the American Heart Assoc., 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
