Mrs. Erps was born in 1917 in Monticello, Iowa, to Glen and Eloise Orcutt. She married Lester L. Erps on July 12, 1941, in Davenport. He died August 18, 2002. For 26 years, she worked as secretary/treasurer for McCausland Telephone Co. She was a devoted and doting sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, putting her family first and foremost, as she did her church memberships with McCausland UMC and Christ UMC, Davenport.
