DAVENPORT -- Services for Joyce F. Squire, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Newcomb Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Mrs. Squire died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. She provided child daycare for many years in her home.
Joyce Orcutt was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Monticello, Iowa, to Glenn and Eloise (Hallauer) Orcutt. She married Loren D. Squire on June 16, 1946, in Davenport. He died June 22, 1986. She was a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Davenport, and Christian Women. She was an avid reader, fan of Hawkeyes athletics and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Newcomb Presbyterian Church.
