Vida Mae Clark was born on the family farm near Terry on September 24, 1919, the daughter of OR and Lemma Basham Creek. She attended country schools near Terry and graduated from Terry High School. Following high school she worked for the New England Bakery until her marriage. On May 10, 1941, she and Charles G Clarke were married in Miles City. She had been a homemaker ever since. Mrs Clarke enjoyed gardening, flowers and loved to read. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors.
Mrs Clarke, 73, passed away October 26, 1992 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Robert Clarke of Boynton Beach FL; two brothers, Edgar Creek of Laurel and Richard Sidney Creek of Terry; three sisters, Bernice Sasser of Springfield OR, Naida Huber of LA CA, and Zenda Anderson of Whitehall. She was preceded in death by a sister, Glenna Malley.
