GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Ben Amos Jr., 77, of Greenville will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. He died Nov. 24, 2010, at his home. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include his special loving friend, Fannie Henderson of Greenville; son, Lawrence Rideaux of Springfield, Mass.; daughter, Dianne Bonney of Greenville; three granddaughters, Dechaine Rideaux of Southaven, Teresa Bonney of Greenville and Bridget Bonney of Lawrence, Kan.; three brothers, Titus (Edna) Amos, Herman Amos, and Curtis (Christine) Amos, all of Greenville; six sisters, Doris Harris of San Diego, Calif., Mildred (Lonnie) Hopson, Gloria (William C.) Manning and Carolyn (Jesse) Coats, all of Greenville, Velma Guy of Dallas, Texas and Barbara Nash of Brentwood, Calif.; one aunt, Mattie Hughes of Olympia Fields, Ill.; special nieces, Zelda Amos of Greenville and Kaylynn Brantley of Arlington, Texas; special nephews, Vernell Horton and Darron Amos; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville.
