Alice Grover Lacy, 86, of Casper, passed away peacefully on her birthday, August 11, 2015.
She was born August 11, 1929, near Springfield, Colorado, the daughter of Everett “Red” and Ida (Harmon) Grover.
Alice married her sweetheart, Walter Lacy, in 1949 and they were married for 61 years. Soon after marriage, she received Christ as her Savior and followed Walter in a call to the ministry. They served in churches in Montana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.
She is survived by her two children, John (Edette) Lacy and Doris (Ernie) Collins; sisters, Lois Lacy, Mary Lacy, and Delores Cummings; 8 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; and great-grandchild, Evan.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, at Calvary Baptist Church in Casper, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday in Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, CO.
