Elizabeth was the wife of John Harrold and mother of 11 children. In the 1900 census, she was a widow, living on Maple Avenue in Marysville with four of her adult children (George, William, Harry and Irene).

The 1880 census lists Elizabeth Harrold with her husband John Harrold and eight children (Mary, George, Emma, Annie, John, William, Franklin and Harry).

Elizabeth is buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery next to her husband John Harrold; and sons William and George Harrold. Next to them is Louisa Stahler, wife of David H. Stahler and possibly the sister-in-law of Elizabeth Stahler Harrold.
