Mrs. Emma Absher Dies at Topeka
WATHENA, Kan., Dec. 21 – (Special) – Mrs. Emma Nora Absher, 78 years old, died yesterday in a Topeka hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three years.

Mrs. Absher, a member of the Latter Day Saints Church in St. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Wathena.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ollie Schuster, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Mina McHugh, Mrs. LuVica Barker, and Mrs. Ruth Brazel, all of Kansas City; two sons Wilber and Frank Absher, both of Wathena; two sisters, Mrs. Esther King, Highland, Kan., and Mrs. Ernest Engeman, Elwood, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
