Harold passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at St. Luke's Home in Dickinson.

Harold Paul Odermann was born August 4, 1926 to Henry C. and Regina (Landwehr) Odermann in Elbowoods, ND. He grew up on the family farm and went to school at the Indian Mission from the 1st thru 6th grade. He completed his schooling at Elbowoods and graduated from Elbowoods High School in 1944. After graduation he received his military notice and reported to Fort Snelling but was turned back because he was the oldest son and considered critical to the farm. On July 16, 1945, Harold married Helen Duletski in St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Belfield, ND. Harold and Helen moved to the Belfield community in March of 1946. They farmed and ranched in the Belfield and Medora areas until they moved to Park Villa in Dickinson in 2003.

Always an avid sports fan, Harold coached and refereed for many years in the Belfield and surrounding area. Harold also was a NoDak Mutual Insurance agent and a Federal Crop Insurance agent and adjuster for over 20 years.

He is preceded in death by both parents, two sisters Doris Stevenson and Theresa Weinand, two brothers Father John Odermann, OSB, and Lloyd Odermann, and a grandson Michael Odermann.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Dickinson Catholic Schools or Assumption Abbey.
